DAMAGED PARCEL
1. Check the appearance of the outer packaging
The box should not have dents, holes and other signs of damage. It should be tightly closed, intact. Check the number of packages on the waybill. If there are more than one piece, they should be delivered to you at the same time.
a. If everything is ok, sign the bill of lading.
b. When the packaging raises your reservations, we strongly refuse to accept the parcel.
c. If you decide to pick up an order with a damaged packaging by signing a waybill, be sure to add the annotation "I accept with reservation". Do not release the courier yet.
2. Check the contents of the parcel
Open the parcel and check that the delivery is complete and the products are undamaged. The courier is obliged to wait until you check the contents of the package.
a. If you have concerns about the status of products ordered or the order does not match the purchase document, ask the courier to draw up a damage report. Take care of filling out all the fields of the form. Mark damage to the outer packaging if present. This is the most important information for the carrier to consider the complaint. Before signing, verify that the description is correct. In the "comments" field you can enter all your reservations, including those regarding the information entered by the courier into the protocol, e.g. when you do not agree with the information entered on the loss report.
b. Receive one copy of the completed protocol.
3. Reservations after the departure of the courier
If the shipment raised your concerns, please report the damage to the carrier on the same day. After reporting for 7 days, a binding damage report may be drawn up. The consultant will accept the application and arrange a next visit of the courier in order to prepare the damage report.
